This hotel suits me perfectly! The 24-hour reception, heated swimming pool, and friendly staff who assisted with a local taxi made my stay enjoyable. I can't wait to return for Christmas!

Business focused but still enjoyable stay

We were really happy with the clean, spacious, comfortable room. The bar on the roof had a nice fire pit, but not much of a view, so it made for a cozy atmosphere at night.

It wasn’t exactly cheap, but still acceptable.

we had a great stay at marriott. the king room was super clean, spacious, and so comfortable. the fitness center is top-notch and has a gorgeous view of the pool. the staff was really nice, making our stay super enjoyable.

The rooftop bar offers a decent view but lacks a stellar panorama. The outdoor terrace has some fire pits, which can be nice for evening relaxation, albeit they can get a bit noisy. Free parking is a solid perk in a city where that can be hard to find.

The lobby looks inviting, but the rooms are definitely showing their age, with some wear and tear that hasn't been addressed in quite a while. The buffet breakfast left something to be desired. for the price, it feels subpar and uninviting. Also, during my stay, I was disappointed to find the pool closed for a few days, which was a primary reason I chose the hotel. To top it off, the outdoor music blared throughout the night, making sleep a bit of a challenge—we all appreciate a good beat, but there should be a time for quiet.

The hotel made it super easy to hit downtown Charleston, which has the coolest shops and eateries! Our stay was all about relaxation, comfy beds, and the clean pool where my kids splashed happily. The friendly staff really made us feel welcome.

I enjoyed a delicious burger in the restaurant after my half marathon, adding to the overall positive experience. I loved having a river view from my room, which added a touch of beauty to my downtime.
